Colt Brennan signs $1.8M deal with Redskins

ASHBURN, Va. — Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan agreed to terms with the Washington Redskins today.
According to ESPN, the deal is for four years with a total value of $1.8 million. The signing bonus or guaranteed money was not available. According to The Honolulu Advertiser, Brennan's signing bonus is $96,800.
The Heisman Trophy finalist was drafted in the sixth round in April's NFL draft. He will compete for the No. 3 quarterback job behind Jason Cambpell and Todd Collins when the Redskins open training camp Sunday.
Last year, Brennan threw for 4,343 yards and 38 touchdowns with 17 interceptions to lead Hawaii to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the Sugar Bowl.
The Redskins have signed or agreed to terms with eight of their 10 draft picks. Second-round picks Devin Thomas of Michigan State and tight end Fred Davis of Southern California remain unsigned.
