People love to eat. They love to try new places. And they love to give their opinions. The Advertiser is just as interested, and today, inside this section on Page E6 (or go online to http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/current/il/ilima), you'll find our 2008 'Ilima Awards ballot. The 12-year-old 'Ilimas honor the Islands' favorite restaurants as chosen by readers and our food writers. The awards will be presented Oct. 13 at a gala event (including the much-looked-forward-to parody show) at Diamond Head Theatre, beneficiary of the 'Ilima program. Vote by July 31, and you'll automatically be entered into a drawing for tickets to Diamond Head Theatre's award-winning productions.

FINAL WORD
"Even my wife doesn't know anything about the story. When she sees (the new 'X-Files' movie, 'I Want to Believe,'), she'll be completely surprised."
