New Kauai mayor sworn in today

Bill "Kaipo" Asing will be sworn in as mayor of Kaua'i County today.
Asing takes over for the late Bryan Baptiste, who died last month after undergoing heart surgery at The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu.
The swearing-in ceremony took place this morning at the Lihue Civic Center.
