A man injured in a fight yesterday on Kaua'i died about five hours later at Kaua'i Veterans Memorial Hospital.

Kaua'i police identified the man as Jerry Walto, 56, of Hanapepe and formerly of Murrieta, Calif.

Walto was injured in a 2:30 p.m. fight with a 46-year-old man in a parking lot behind Bank of Hawai'i in Hanapepe. An autopsy will try to determine cause and manner of death.
