Traffic is being contra flowed on Kamehameha Highway at Kualoa Beach Park after an early-morning traffic accident.
A HECO spokeswoman said a car hit a utility pole at about 7:30 this morning. The accident didn't knock the pole down but it was "leaning precariously," she said.
No one was seriously injured.
HECO and telephone crews are on the scene making repairs.
The work was expected to be completed by about 10 p.m.
The spokeswoman said power was knocked out for about 150 people for a short time but has been restored to all but a few customers in the immediate area.
