Kailua power outage affects 4,700

Power is being restored this evening in Kailua after a failure affected about 4,700 customers, HECO says.
A HECO spokeswoman said at 6:25 p.m. the power failure was caused by an equipment problem at the 'Aikahi substation and affected an area from downtown Kailua to 'Aikahi.
Power is being restored but there were still some people in 'Aikahi would who do not have power back yet, the spokeswoman said.
