San Francisco 49er and former University of HawaiI wide receiver Ashley Lelie missed today's 49er practice with a calf injury.

Nolan said Lelie had an MRI on Sunday and could miss anywhere from a few days to a week.

Lelie signed a two-year free-agent contract with the 49ers last season.

He is competing in a crowded receiving group that includes offseason signees, ex-St. Louis Ram Isaac Bruce and ex-Arizona Cardinal Bryant Johnson. The team also has returning starter Arnaz Battle, 2007 third-round pick Jason Hill and sixth-round pick from this year, Josh Morgan.
