Spring savings: Castle Resorts & Hotels offers up to 47 percent savings for accommodations through June 5 for Kaua'i, Hawai'i and Maui, based on a minimum stay of four nights at each location.

On Kaua'i: At Kaha Lani Resort, rates start at $232 per night for a two-bedroom oceanfront suite. At Kiahuna Plantation & The Beach Bungalows, one-bedroom garden-view suites start at $177. At Makahuena at Po'ipu, pay $262 for a three-bedroom garden-view suite.

GREAT DEAL: Holland America is offering an Alaska Values sale on select cruises through September; the deal allows a third and fourth passenger in a party to sail for $99 each. Prices vary. For example, the rate for the first two passengers starts at $599 per person double on a seven-day Glacier Bay Discovery cruise between Vancouver and Seward, Alaska, departing Sept. 14. Taxes of $101 per person, plus fuel surcharge of $7 per person per day, are extra.
