Honoapi'ilani Highwat closed due to fatl crash

Maui police tonight closed Honoapi'ilani Highway between Lahaina and Ma'alaea because of a fatal accident involving a motorcycle.
The accident was reported about 6 p.m., one-tenth of a mile on the Lahaina side of the pali tunnel.
No traffic is being allowed between Lahaina's Front Street and Ma'alaea. Traffic in and out of Kahakuloa is restricted to Kahakuloa resident traffic only.
