The man who died in a one-car crash on Sunday has been identified as Timote Likiliki, the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office said.

Lililiki was 35 years old and from Honolulu. He died of internal injuries.

Lililiki was driving a 1998 Ford pickup, heading south on Nu'uanu Pali Drive about 10:05 a.m. when the truck veered to the left and ran head-on into a large tree about a half-mile north of Pali Highway, police said.
