Faith Rivera, a Kaua'i-born singer heard performing "These Boots Are Made for Walking" in Hawaiian with the band Coconutz on the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" soundtrack, gives a concert at 7 tonight at Unity Church of Hawai'i, 3608 Diamond Head Circle.

Tonight's performance will feature tunes from Rivera's latest CD, "Maluhia," which combines pop, folk and R&B flavor with a message of peace and empowerment. Free; but there's a "love offering." 735-4436.

WORLD OF CUTE

TOKIDOKI DESIGNER AT NORDSTROM

Expect a horde when Italian designer Simone Legno, the creator of the tokidoki line of ultra-cute, anime-inspired images and toys (as seen on and in Le Sportsac), appears from 1 to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Nordstrom to launch a new tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger shoe. He'll sign anything but canvas for the first 350 fans.

And if you love tokidoki, you'll be happy to know that Legno's appearance coincides with the production of a new, locally conceived vinyl collectible toy set by Honolulu artist Zakko, featuring tokidoki embellishments — find it at www.zakkamono.com.

FINAL WORD
