Rescue workers sent to aid hikers in Palolo

Firefighters from the Palolo Station and other fire rescue crewmembers have been sent to the end of Kalekipa Place toward the back of Palolo Valley in response to a report of hikers in distress.
Firefighters were sent out on the call at 2:48 a.m.
A Fire Department helicopter was also sent to the scene.
