A man who appears to be in his 60s was killed when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in Kane'ohe this morning.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said paramedics were sent to the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Pua Inia area of Kane'ohe at 9:48 a.m.

Cheplic said the man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
