Get rail transit answers from senator, officials
Sen. Clarence Nishihara, D-18th (Waipahu, Crestview, Pearl City), will hold a community meeting from 10 a.m. Saturday in the food court section of the Waipahu Don Quijote store to discuss the city's upcoming rail transit project.
City transportation services director Wayne Yoshioka and other city officials will be on hand to answer questions about the project, which is expected to move through Waipahu along Farrington Highway and have major transit stops at both ends of the town.
