The local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will present its annual Koa Anvil and Koa Hammer Awards July 17.

The Koa Anvil awards recognize the top-rated public relations programs, while the Koa Hammer awards are given for public relations tools, such as annual reports, brochures, news releases and press kits. Individual practitioner awards also be presented.

The awards dinner at the Halekulani Ballroom starts at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. Tickets are $60 for PRSA members, $70 for non-members, and $45 for students. The deadline for reservations is July 11. For more information, call 533-4165.
