You know the answer to this one: the most popular flavor of Girl Scout cookie? Thin Mints. Soon, Dairy Queen ice cream shops will offer an ice cream version of the cookie as a summertime treat. Thin Mint Cookie Blizzards will be offered through the season, featuring a soft-serve ice cream base, cookie bits and a creme de menthe topping. (All Blizzards, invented more than 20 years ago, combine cookies, candies, fruits or nuts with soft-serve ice cream.)
Debuting July 1, the minty blizzards will be featured for a month and are the result of a first-ever licensing agreement between the Girl Scouts and the Dairy Queen company.

LEARN ABOUT HAWAI'I COFFEE
NEW BOOK OFFERS EXTENSIVE LOOK AT STORIED INDUSTRY
This week, Watermark Publishing releases a surprising book — surprising in that you think someone would already have explored this topic. "The Hawai'i Coffee Book: A Gourmet's Guide From Kona to Kaua'i" (spiral-bound), is said to be the first comprehensive book on the Isles' storied coffee industry for the popular audience. Written by graduate student and coffee connoisseur Shawn Steiman, the book is everything from a cookbook to a guidebook, telling you not only how coffee is grown and processed (in 11 different regions on five islands, by the way, not just in Kona), but also how to brew it and cook with it. Nicely designed and well-photographed.
