NEXT WEEK'S ROADWAY CLOSURES
MONDAY-THURSDAY Pu‘uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for traffic signal system installations. Shoulder lanes closed in both directions, no roadside parking; various lane closures and possible detours in all directions. Mokumoa Street between Pu‘uloa Road and Mapunapuna Street, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drainage work. Lane modification, no large vehicles, one lane open to cars only in each direction. Mokumoa Street at Pu‘uloa Road, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lighting and electrical work. Kunia Road, roving single-lane closures, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pavement striping work Fort Weaver Road. Southbound left-lane closure between Laulaunui Street and Renton Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for northbound contra-flow; northbound single-lane closure, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., from A‘awa Drive to beyond Honouliuli Stream Bridge, for trenching and drainage-line installations. Ala Moana between Kalakaua Avenue and Kalia Road, both directions, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for street light and traffic signal duct line installations, and driveway, sidewalk and curb construction. Nimitz Highway, westbound left-lane closure between Alakea and Sumner streets, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for median landscaping work. Kamehameha Highway, southbound lane closure from Kina Place to Waiahole Valley Road, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for installation of drainage grates and pipes. Kamehameha Highway, northbound traffic contra-flow using southbound lanes between Waikalani Drive and Lehua Road, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, single-lane closures northbound from Waihau Street to Santos Dumont Avenue and southbound from Santos Dumont Avenue to Lehua Street, Project is shoulder widening, gutter work and curb construction. Kalaniana‘ole Highway, right-lane closure in the Kailua-bound direction between Castle Junction and Kapa‘a Quarry Road, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for erosion control work. Kahekili Highway, left-lane closures in both directions from Kulukeoe Street to Haiku Road, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drainage and water-line system installations, and median-barrier construction. H-3 Freeway, right-lane closure Kailua-bound between Kamehameha Highway and Kane‘ohe Bay Drive, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail repairs. Farrington Highway, northbound single-lane closures from Orange Street to Kili Drive, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement resurfacing and manhole adjustments. H-3 Freeway, closure of Honolulu-bound on-ramp from Mililani Town on Meheula Parkway, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement resurfacing. Alternate routes, Kamehameha Highway or U-turn off Meheula Parkway at Ainamakua Drive intersection and use H-2 Freeway loop on-ramp from makai-bound lanes. Pali Highway, right-lane closures in Kailua-bound direction between Wyllie Street and Pali Tunnel, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.OTHERS H-2 Freeway at Ka Uka Boulevard Interchange, Honolulu-bound on-ramp closed Monday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Mililani-bound on-ramp closed Tuesday, 1-4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing. Ala Moana, left-lane closure westbound from Punchbowl to Halekauwila streets, Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for median fence repairs. Nimitz Highway, right-lane closure eastbound near the Sand Island Access Road intersection, Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 9p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday, for fence repairs. Pali Highway off-ramp from H-1 eastbound, closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday, for guardrail repairs.

There will be nightly road closures from Sunday through Thursday morning for state Department of Transportation projects at three separate locations.
H-201 Moanalua Freeway, eastbound, from the Kahuapa'ani Street to Pu'uloa Street overpasses will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for lane striping. One lane of the H-1 Freeway between Waipahu Street and the Waikele Stream Bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for striping. Multiple lane closures in both directions on Ala Moana from Fort Street to Pi'ikoi Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement striping and adjustment of manhole frames and covers. Motorists are advised to use Queen Street or South King Street as alternate routes.
