Lecture will focus on Native Hawaiians' income

Economist Seiji Naya will offer a lecture March 10 on the results of an Office of Hawaiian Affairs' study on income distribution of Native Hawaiians.
The study suggests various policy measures to alleviate poverty and to improve the welfare of the Native Hawaiian community.
The presentation will be at 5 p.m. in Campus Center Room 301 at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo.
Naya is professor emeritus of economics at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and former director of the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
