FOXBOROUGH, Mass. The New England Patriots re-signed veteran wide receiver Jabar Gaffney today.

The 27-year-old Gaffney played four seasons with Houston before he signed with the Patriots as a free agent in October 2006.

Last season, he played in 16 games with seven starts and caught 36 passes for 449 yards and a career-high five touchdowns.
