Hawaii's Better Business Bureau will honor outstanding businesses at the 2008 Torch Awards April 17.

The awards, sponsored by HMSA recognizes local businesses, charities, and individuals "for their outstanding commitment to fair, honest, and ethical marketplace practices."

The winners will be named at the luncheon set for 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.

Judge Thomas K. Kaulukukui,Jr. is the event's keynote speaker.
