A 25-year-old man was charged tonight with promoting dangerous drugs and possession of a firearm in Chinatown's Weed & Seed district,

Sia Unutoa, who listed no permanent local address at booking, was arrested Friday at 1339 River St. at 8:15 p.m. He was charged tonight with first- and second-degree promotion of dangerous drugs and possessing a pistol.

Unutoa was being held without bail overnight at the main police station cellblock and will be turned over tomorrow to the U.S. Marshals Service for federal prosecution, police said.
