HTY's 'Maui's Kite' coming to a library near you
Advertiser Staff
Honolulu Theatre for Youth's "Maui's Kite: Another Tale of Old Hawaii" will be presented free at libraries statewide March 17 through May 28.
The play is based on the story of how the Hawaiian Kite was invented. Maui makes the kite, then calls the winds to help him fly it. Too little wind, the kite won't go up. Too much wind, the kite blows away! Only the right amount of wind will allow the kite to soar.
The 45-minute show is aimed at children ages 3-5.
