Free car washes and an open house will be part of a community service event sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 22.

Members will wash cars and lead tours of the chapel's meeting space. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church's Kahala Ward branch at 4847 Kilauea Ave.
