Hawaii language access conference March 28-29

Grace Chung Becker, acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, will be the keynote speaker at the "Hawai'i Conference on Language Access: Laulima — Working Together to Ensure Language Access in Hawai'i" March 28-29 at Hawai'i Imin International Conference Center, East-West Center.
The conference brings together experts, administrators, public-access service providers, interpreters, translators, and college students to share knowledge on language access issues, policies, and best practices to ensure that people with limited English proficiency will receive better access to services from government and nonprofit agencies throughout Hawai'i.
