UH Baseball: Rainbows complete sweep of UAB

Josh Schneider pitched six strong innings and made a three-run seventh stand up in Hawai'i's 3-1 win over Alabama-Birmingham last night to complete a two-game non-conference series sweep at Les Murakami Stadium.
Schneider (2-0) gave up three hits and three walks with five strikeouts for UH (7-9). Cory Kahn went two innings, allowing a run on two hits and Cameron Wheeler allowed a hit and a walk,but struck out two in a scoreless ninth for his first save.
Mitch Kloskowski (2-1) allowed three runs, five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 6° innings for UAB (6-9).
UH scored on Sean Montplaisir's RBI single, a wild pitch and Vinnie Catricala's RBI single.
