Police are seeking a man for questioning in Friday's robbery, kidnapping and assault of an elderly woman in Mililani.

A 78-year-old woman on Friday went to investigate a call from a neighbor that two men were in her garage at about 3:40 p.m.

When she opened the garage door, one of the men knocked her to the ground, causing her to suffer a broken rib. The two men pushed the woman into the house and locked her in a bedroom, took several household items and a safe and drove away in the woman's car.

The vehicle was located later on Loa'a Street in Waipahu. Police found a picture on a set of keys in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a Polynesian man in his 20s, 5 feet 10 and 240 pounds, and wearing a white T-shirt, blue denim long pants and a red bandanna.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cell phone. Free cell calls are provided by AT&T, Nextel Hawaii, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless Hawaii.
