Gov. Linda Lingle has nominated an additional 35 people from around the state to serve on various state boards and commissions. The appointments are subject to confirmation by the state Senate.
"My administration appreciates the willingness of these individuals to serve the public by dedicating their time, talents and expertise to help improve state government," Lingle said in a news release.
The 35 nominees are in addition to the 160 people the governor reappointed last month to serve new terms on boards and commissions.
