Arson suspected in Hauula home fire

Police are investigating yesterday's Hau'ula house fire as a first-degree arson.
The 1:53 p.m. fire at 53-865 Kamehameha Highway caused estimated damage of $120,000 to the structure and $30,000 to the contents, according to Honolulu Fire Department investigators. The fire, which started in the kitchen, was determined to be intentionally set, police said.
