Anthony J.H. Ching, the recently appointed executive director of the Hawaii Community Development Authority, will speak at a West Oahu Economic Development Association luncheon on Monday.

The authority is tasked with planning the redevelopment of the Kalaeloa Community Development District, what formerly was the Barbers Point Naval Air Station.

The meeting will take place at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina. Networking and a buffet lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. The annual meeting starts at noon, while Ching will speak at 12:15.

Deadline to register is Friday. The cost is $40 for association members, $50 for non-members. At-the-door cost is $60.
