A boulder appearing to be about four feet across rolled down Palolo Valley this afternoon, crashed through a bedroom wall and punched a hole in the floor.
Two residents were home at the time of the event, shortly before 5 p.m., but no one was hurt.
The residents left the house to stay elsewhere, neighbors said.
The incident happened at a house on the 2000 block of 10th Avenue, near Palolo Elementary School.
The boulder came to rest in a crawl space under the house, which sits on posts. The house is against a steep hillside on the east side of Palolo Valley.
