Prosecutors have charged a 30-year-old man with threatening to kill his former girlfriend last September.
Randy M. Miles is accused of first-degree terroristic threatening stemming from a Sept. 8 incident in Wai'anae. His bail is $40,000 pending an initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.
Miles and a woman, who is still at large, allegedly broke into his former girlfriend's house, where the 32-year-old resident was allegedly assaulted by the unarrested suspect. The complainant told police Miles swung a baseball bat at her twice but missed before she locked herself in a bedroom.
Miles' criminal record includes 17 convictions.
