The John: 17-21 Ministry, a group that cares for the spiritual needs of the handicapped, will hold a service at 4 p.m. Mother's Day at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1350 Hunakai St. (across from Kahala Mall).

Anthony Akamine will preach on the topic "The Hero Within." There will also be carnations for women. Dinner will follow.
