Police were working to clear up motor vehicle collision scenes on North Beretania and Smith streets in Chinatown and the H-1 Freeway west at the Waimalu offramp in Pearl City before the start of today's peak afternoon traffic period at 4 p.m.

Both collisions were reported at about 3:35 p.m.

Police reported no other serious problems at 3:45 p.m.
