Water service was restored at 11:30 a.m. to residents of Ho'omoana Street in Pearl City that had gone without since a water line break was reported early this morning.

Board of Water Supply crews are still on scene to finish up road repairs, and a lane closure and traffic diversion will continue until repairs are complete, according to a BWS news release.

Police said makai-bound traffic will be diverted onto Ho'okahua or Ho'omalolo streets.

Repairs are expected to last into the evening hours, police said.
