SUNDAY'S MUST-SEE
"Survivor," 7 p.m., and follow-up, 9 p.m., CBS. This has been an odd, messy, and altogether fascinating edition of "Survivor." Two people left early because of injuries, one because of weariness. Two more asked to be voted out; they were. Two people were ousted after failing to play the immunity idol; one coveted a fake idol he thought was real. This has been an intriguing bunch of schemers.
SUNDAY'S MUST-TAPE
"Desperate Housewives," 8 p.m., ABC. Last week, Bree threw out Orson, but he didn't go far. Now he's at Edie's house; in this episode, the two women are at war. Meanwhile, only Lynette realizes that Kayla is a sociopath who masterminded the restaurant fire.
OF NOTE
"Mary Poppins" (1964), 7 p.m., and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (1971), 10 p.m., ABC Family. Here are two great family musicals.
"Nature: Prince of the Alps," 7 p.m., PBS. With splendid footage of the Austrian Alps, this follows a young deer.
"Masterpiece: Cranford," 8 p.m., PBS. The sweetly naive Matty (Judi Dench) copes with life without her late sister. More tough times are ahead, but there's an excellent finale next week.
"Caught on Safari: Battle at Kruger," 3 and 6 p.m., National Geographic. An eight-minute video has become a YouTube hit, showing three forces — lions, a crocodile and water buffalo — battling over a young buffalo. This hour shows the tape with some fairly interesting commentary.
"Brothers and Sisters" season finale, 9:02 p.m., ABC. Sarah learns yet another secret about her late father.
