Judge approves sale of Aloha Air Cargo to Saltchuk

A federal judge today approved the the $10.5 million sale of Aloha Airlines' cargo division to the owner of Young Brothers/Hawaiian Tug & Barge.
Judge Lloyd King also approved a motion by the airlines' court appointed trustee to terminate the airlines' contracts with its unions.
Aloha is selling its cargo division to Seattle-based Saltchuk Resources Inc. The deal is expected to close Wednesday.
