Horses: Big Brown arrives at Belmont for Triple Crown try
Associated Press
NEW YORK — Big Brown has arrived at Belmont Park to begin preparations for the Belmont Stakes as he tries to become the first thoroughbred in 30 years to complete the Triple Crown.
The Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner displayed his trademark calm this afternoon as he was led from his trailer to Barn 2 with more than two dozen cameras following him.
Trainer Rick Dutrow Jr. says he believes the horse is still very fresh after winning the first two legs of the Triple Crown. The Belmont Stakes will be run June 7.
