Single-lane closures will continue along Fort Weaver Road every day this week as the widening project proceeds.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the southbound left lane will be closed between Laulaunui Street and Old Fort Weaver Road for trenching work tied to the installation of electrical conduits.

Northbound, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., single-lane closures will be in place from 'A'awa Drive to beyond the Honouliuli Stream Bridge for trenching and drainage line installations.

Also, traffic on Old Fort Weaver Road may be contraflowed into a single lane near the Fort Weaver Road intersection between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., daily, for waterline installation.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
