The Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai'i is looking for volunteers for a Kawaiku'i Beach cleanup this Sunday from 7:45 to 10:15 a.m.

The group will be removing invasive algae and litter from the Maunalua Bay shoreline in conjunction with World Ocean Day, which is on June 8.

Those interested in helping are asked to register by Friday by calling 393-2168 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Volunteers should bring a hat, sunscreen and sturdy shoes. Water, bags and gloves will be provided, and all volunteers will be entered in a prize drawing.
