Tammy Mori named Hawaii DOT spokeswoman

The state Department of Transportation has named Tammy Mori as its new public information spokeswoman, effective June 2.
Mori, a reporter with KHON TV news, replaces Scott Ishikawa who left the position May 2 to take a private-sector job.
Mori has worked at KHON since December 2006 as a general assignment reporter and worked previously as a reporter in Washington state. She holds a degree in political science and communications from the University of Washington.
