Weather: Mostly clear through the weekend

The trade winds will gradually increase as the weekend arrives while a high pressure area builds north of the islands, the National Weather Service said.

The clouds and showers will be on the rise, especially from Monday on as the trade winds carry the remnants of a front over the islands.

Here's a close look at what to expect during the next few days:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 86. East wind around 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind around 9 mph.

Saturday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 84. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. East wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
