Golf: Kim helps U.S. take 4-2 lead in Curtis Cup

Former Hawaii resident Kimberley Kim teamed with Mina Harigae to win their four-ball match today as the United States took a 4-2 lead over Great Britain & Ireland in the 35th Curtis Cup on the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland.
Kim and Harigae defeated Carly Booth and Michele Thomson, 3 and 2, in an afternoon four-ball match.
The United States won two of the three afternoon matches after capturing two of three in the morning foursome matches.
Kim did not play in the morning foursome matches.
She is scheduled to play in tomorrow's morning foursome matches with Jennie Lee. The U.S. duo will face Carly Booth and Breanne Loucks.
The Americans have a 25-6-3 lead in the series that date to 1932.
