The Global Lens Film Series is presented by the nonprofit organization Global Film Initiative in its ongoing efforts to tell the stories of people around the world. The series begins today and continues through June 17 at the Doris Duke Theatre, Honolulu Academy of Arts. www.globalfilm.org.

Tickets are $7 general, $6 seniors, students, military; $5 museum members.
