LEARN ABOUT ALL THINGS PORTUGUESE

Parents, friends or relatives of Portuguese or part-Portuguese youth might like to enroll the young people in the Hawaii Council on Portuguese Heritage's Rainbow Heritage Workshop, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 14 at Camp Kokokahi in Kane'ohe. It's a chance to learn about history, language, arts, music, food, and all things Portuguese. Camp director Carole A. Hope is following in the footsteps of her mother, the late Antoinette "Toni" DeMello, who organized such camps in the past. Registration: $10, includes lunch and supplies.
