NHL: Crosby joins morning skate, will play vs Blues
Associated Press
PITTSBURGH — Penguins star Sidney Crosby will play tonight against St. Louis two days after he left a game with an undisclosed injury.
The statement on Pittsburgh's Web site said Crosby participated in the morning skate Saturday. He felt "discomfort" after leaving the Penguins' 4-1 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes early in the third period Thursday night.
Crosby is the 2006-07 NHL scoring champion and MVP. He missed 28 games last season with a high ankle sprain.
