Surf: Small today, bigger waves due Thursday

Surf of 3 to 5 feet is expected today along the north-facing shores of O'ahu.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along south- and west-facing shores.

Outlook through Sunday, Nov 9: A northwest swell arriving early Thursday will produce surf near the advisory level along north-facing shores when it peaks late Thursday. Another northwest swell will build on Saturday, and peak near advisory level heights on Sunday.

No other significant swells are expected.
