Ruptured water main in Pearl City repaired

Board of Water Supply crews completed repair work today on a ruptured 12-inch water main on the 1100 block of Waimano Home Road near the Pearl City Library.

The 5 a.m. break between Ho'olaulea and Ho'omalu streets affected about 80 customers on Luehu Street and 10 on Waimano Home Road until repair work was completed at about 3:30 p.m. Repaving work on the roadway is expected to be completed at about 4 a.m. tomorrow, according to Moani Wright-Van Alst of the Board of Water Supply.
