ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The injury-riddled Broncos have signed free-agent running back Tatum Bell to his second stint in Denver.
The fifth-year pro played three seasons for the Broncos before he was traded to Detroit in March 2007. The Lions released him on Sept. 2.
The Broncos drafted Bell in the second round out of Oklahoma State in 2004. In 47 career games, he's run for 2,524 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also has 61 catches for 362 yards.
The Broncos also waived wide receiver Glenn Martinez on Tuesday.
