Local filmmakers in 'All For Melissa' sign DVDs this weekend

"All For Melissa," the made-in-Hawaii movie directed by Honolulu's Gerard Elmore, was released this week on DVD.

Signings are planned with the local cast and crew. The schedule:

Saturday, Nov. 15: Borders Pearlridge , 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 28: Barnes & Noble Ala Moana, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 28: Borders Windward Mall, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 6: Borders Waikele, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 7: Borders Pearlridge, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 13: Diamond Head Video, Kapahulu, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 20: Borders Windward Mall, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 21: Ward Borders, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

The film is the story of Jared Rogers, 22, a dreamer with a family that doesn't understand him and an unfulfilling job as a computer troubleshooter. He is also madly in love with red-hot actress Melissa Williams and has strange recurring dreams about her. Longtime friend Alicia helps Jared come up with a plan to meet Melissa. But thing don't go exactly as planned.
