Maui's Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans will hold its Holiday Fair 2008 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maui High School gym.

There will be crafts, baked goods, gift items, Christmas ornaments, plants, a farmers' market and food.

Historical preservation efforts by Maui's Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans include collecting memorabilia, documents and photographs, and an oral history project, all of which will be housed in the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center. The group also supports the national Go For Broke Foundation's Hanashi oral/video history project and events such as an annual Veterans Day tribute.
